Its weird because I have a friend whos a crew member for UK based film and TV productions and he's a straight shooter meaning he won't lie and will tell it like it is and hes worked with DJ on Fast and Furious 6 and the spin off Hobbs and Shaw because both films were shot over here and both times he said DJ would arrive on time, well prepared, knows every crew member by name, treats them with respect and gets along with his cast mates and an all round great guy to work and hang out with.. and doesn't pee in voss bottles and goes to the bathroom...a lot because he stays hydrated all the time!! So I do not know why he's got such an big ego the last few years because according to my mate who has worked with him.. he was never like this before. Now Vin Diesel... Fucking hell he has told me nightmare stories with a capital N about this guy on film sets.. fuck me, don't be surprised if in the next few years theirs gonna be tell all books about how much of a c**t Vin really is to cast, crew and the people around him!

Jumanji is an okay movie but he is pretty good playing somewhat against type. He is fun in Fast Five. Those aren't quite great roles but it is pretty slim overall. As far as wrestlers go John Cena probably has more range.

Definitely gotta check out Pain & Gain of and all people.. Michael Bay got the best performance out of him in that film! But he was really good in Snitch, Central Intelligence, Gridiron Gang, the 2 Jumanji films, Southland Tales, The Rundown, Walking Tall and Moana!

I think I get the People's Sexiest Man Alive pick rationale now and why it always seems so offbase with the current mood. Last year's was that McDreamy guy from Grey's Anatomy. People's primary readership is white women in their 40's and 50's. They probably just ask "ok who did girls in their 20's and 30's think was hot 20 years ago? Did they age gracefully? Ok pick them"

Jeremy Allen White gonna be Sexiest Man Alive in like 2044.

Season 1 of Peacemaker alone proved Cena has a ton of range

Imagine going to a Dwayne Johnson film and looking for a "performance".

I like most of his movies but when I go see them I'm not expecting anything remotely award winning.

I am surprised Get Smart never got a sequel because I am sure the first one did really well box office wise.

" Charlie Heller (Malek) is a brilliant, but deeply introverted decoder for the CIA working out of a basement office at headquarters in Langley whose life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a London terrorist attack. When his supervisors refuse to take action, he takes matters into his own hands, embarking on a dangerous trek across the globe to track down those responsible, his intelligence serving as the ultimate weapon for eluding his pursuers and achieving his revenge. The film also stars Rachel Brosnahan, Caitríona Balfe, Jon Bernthal, Michael Stuhlbarg, Holt McCallany, Julianne Nicholson, Adrian Martinez, Danny Sapani, and Laurence Fishburne. “The Amateur” is directed by James Hawes."

there's something unnerving about people like The Rock or Mark Wahlberg who are so disciplined it seems alien, like what do you mean The Rock eats pounds of cod every day that's insane

He plays pretty much the same character in like 90% of his stuff. The ones that really stand up are the ones where he does something different like Get Smart, Tooth Fairy, Ballers, Moana...

Pro wrestling is pretty much acting with extra steps so many wrestlers who come to Hollywood already have great experience, especially when they are performing live in front of a crowd and on TV every week.

Also I have never heard anything negative about DJ from anyone who personally met him, not even online.

It is definitely suspicious and untrustworthy. Orson Welles and Marlon Brando gaining a lot of weight as they got older and richer is one of the most relatable things ever.

Anyone who keeps working hard after they have made enough money for their great-grandchildren to live off of is an odd case. I never understand why you have those older athletes having to get hit and maintain that training regimen when they are already multi-millionaires. Wouldn't you rather eat cake and drink soda sometimes?

It really depends on your plans for the future. If you plan on being in the public eye then you probably don't want people talking all day about how you let yourself go. I wish it wasn't the case though.

The kind of movies the rock is in are not the kind of movies I like, so I don't really have an opinion due to not ever really seeing his movies
