Crazy Stupid Love gives it a little competition for that title

 

Crazy Stupid Love is good, but Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a class above it in my eyes.

 

I’ve always found the twist in Crazy Stupid Love to be a little cheap, but I enjoy it a ton outside of that.

The worst part of Forgetting Sarah Marshall is that a few of its cast members have been revealed to be shitty. Which is sucks for sure, but not the fault of the movie.

 

I truly hate Crazy Stupid Love. It’s like everything bad about 2000s rom-coms, despite its incredible cast.

It's so much better than most of the other rom coms, feels very Apatow-ian

 

I saw it when it came out and thought it was very very bad, but that was a very long time ago

 

it has some absolutely insane plotlines but its pleasant

 

There’s a subplot where a high schooler is trying to seduce Steve Carell, it completely wastes Marisa Tomei and has the trope of “The kid that knows more about love than adults.” Throw it in the bin, I say!

 

lol I just wanted the part where he takes his ring off because he’s gonna go punch him but having the David Lindhaagen part in there is even better tbh

 

that was Lio Tipton's character, right? They were on ANTM S11 but I only watched S12-17. I guess I got tired of the formula, and maybe on some level I started to realize Tyra was toxic, but I guess that's another discussion
