Wow, Kneecap was a fucking great movie. Very glad I watched it

 

Dude yeah I was super surprised by it!

 

Yeah I wasn't expecting to love it so much, my fiance is a fan of their music so I just rented it for her not knowing anything about it, but it was great!

 

I wanted to catch Kneecap with A-List but missed it. Glad to know I should still seek it out.

 

Really don’t want to come off as “old man yells at cloud” here, but I think theater goers don’t understand that if a bunch of people are whispering, it’s not quiet anymore and defeats the purpose.

 

Whatever happened to cupping your hand around your friend's ear and *actually* whispering so that no one could hear you? Wasn't this the expected behavior for forever?

 

or better yet, maybe save your thoughts until the movie is over! we had people talking in audible hushed tones throughout the entirety of my showing of The Substance yesterday, and i wanted to yell at them to just shut up and watch.

I was going to say this must be an American problem because the audiences here are pretty well behaved but the last time I was at a crowded theater was Oppenheimer and I had to tell someone to shut up while they talked through the bomb drop

 

Probably because most of the time we’re afraid to say anything to people because we don’t want to get shot, so the idiots think they have free rein to get away with their bullshit.

 

I started watching Colombo. One of the first episodes I was like "wow some of the cinematography in this is really good and it has some real cool shots" and then I saw the episode I was watching was directed by pre-jaws Spielberg.
