Sorry online content creators as a whole will never be mainstream A list hollywood stars unless they crossover to actual tv or film. They have been trying to make this a thing for a decade now, never gonna happen.

I only know Rhett and Link who look very out of place in that picture.

 

I’ve heard those names. But only in the context with Game Grumps or related projects. But I could not say what they did in those instances.

 

Bad list why would you make a new hollywood A list without any YouTube Premium stars?

 

Reading this list as a 33 year old who has never intentionally opened TikTok or Reels, I think I finally understand how my parents felt when I would name all of the Pokemon whatever the hell thing I knew all about that was completely opaque to them.

 

Rhett and Link are great and it does them a huge disservice to put them in with all those other influencers

 

saying i'd watch M:I "first" implies i'd watch the live action L&S eventually

yeah Rhett and Link have been around since the early YouTube days i think? odd to include them amongst a new generation of influencers, which itself is kinda a new phenomenon. we weren't calling Michelle Phan and Smosh influencers.

It is crazy there are YouTubers with like 100 million subscribers that I’ve never heard off and have no idea what they do. That’s an entire different world.
