At the very least some of my nerdiest/smartest kids in AP Gov definitely do. Not sure if they watch it live or just catch things as they're posed on socials/youtube, but they def have referenced some SNL this year haha

 

As it always was. The "cool kids" were not the ones obsessively watching SNL, KITH, and MST3K reruns on Comedy Central back in our day lol

 

Lasagna is a lesser pasta.

My rationale is there's such a thin layer of pasta, might as well just eat a plateful of ricotta

 

How do you guys feel about Pastistio (Greek Lasagna)? Macaroni, sweeter tomato sauce with cinnamon and cloves, and a super thick top layer of Béchamel sauce

 

That why it's good

 

So from looking at Google, Bechamel sauce is mainly just butter, milk and flour? Hmm. Never had this before but it looks good, I'd probably like it. Especially for the sweeter sauce

 

The bechamel is like a doughy pillowy soft cloud covering the top basically. It's been my go to Greek order for years. The sweeter sauce is takes a bit to get used to if you're used to italian sauce, but it's so good

 

In New England, we have this broad term of "beach pizza" for pizza with sweeter tomato sauce. It's delicious.

I think mainly because of Tripoli's pizza that tend to be near our beach which has huge square slices with a sweeter sauce? Idk. Not sure of the origin

 

What is beach pizza and where can you find it in New England?.

Ah yeah that's accurate. Lots of mozzarella with a slice of provolone on top too
