TIL that in the 2004 Garfield that Odie was an actual dog. That's very weird, but I still prefer that to an animated Odie that can speak like in the new one

 

Odie speaks in the new movie? Only now have I decided to not see it then. Haha

 

True Garfield heads know that in the first iteration of Garfield Odie did speak. It wasn’t until an editor suggested that he didn’t that Jim Davis made the change.
