I watched the first one and it’s very bad but I couldn’t stop watching!

 

I imagine this will be pretty much the end of Snyder for a while for how bad these two movies failed

Famous modernist architect

Trad Architecture vs Modernist Architecture has recently seeped into online reactionary politics so this is weird timing for a famous conservative guy to demolish landmark piece of modernist architecture

 

Idk because anything can be art and destroying art sucks especially with what they replace it with

 

I heard they paved paradise and put up a parking lot

 

They tore up all the landscaping too. It was a beautiful property

 

If we accept that anything can be art, we have to accept that it will be destroyed from time to time imo

 

The takeaway is that it’s a bummer when rich people buy up land and destroy significant works of art, including landscaping and architecture. It’s not a leap to wonder the precedent this might set for something like Robert Smithson’s Spiral Jetty, for example.

I strongly suggest going to thrift stores and snatching up as many DVDs as you can before they’re gone forever

Hoarding a bunch of DVD's isn't the answer. Digital archivists have been working hard to create a library but nothing is stopping anyone from buying an external hard drive and doing the same thing.
