I get dvds at the library a lot too. They look terrible, but I don’t really need Message In A Bottle and Morning Glory or whatever garbage trip I’m on that week to look good

the library is a painfully underrated resource. there are at least a few bands i got into via their album selection, plus it helped me catch up with blank check when certain films weren’t streaming on anything i have

I credit my library's CD collection in the early 2000's for helping shape my taste in music. Whoever picked their collection must have loved Poison The Well, Jimmy Eat World, Sunny Day Real Estate, The Movielife, and Midtown and for that I thank them.

 

I don't get the Bend it Like Beckham one.

 

Basically just made Kiera Knightley's face somewhat more recognizable...though to me the digital airbrushing or whatever is so bad that I can hardly tell it's her anyway haha

There was a movie that did do that. I think it was a love triangle romantic comedy and I believe Ben Stiller was one of the leads. They ended up taking the female lead out of later posters years later because she didn't stay famous.
