Yeah I use peacock and paramount+ the least but there are usually movies I want to watch on them so I’d rather just pay the few bucks a month to have them.

 

YouTube once tried to show me an unskippable add that said "Australians love renting"
That was the last straw, I could not tolerate anymore and hatefully started my 30 day free trial
It took 1 day to recognize I now just had less stress in my life, I was free to stay up all night ruining my relationship watching YouTube in bed ad free

Same. Once my kid is old enough to watch YouTube, I'm sure I'll pay for it.

 

I can tell there are people here who don't know shit about air superiority.

 

I split a Spotify with a friend, and split YouTube TV with family. That's all I got

 

I didn’t think I did either until I got premium.

I live with just my parents and they don't use any so I limit myself to one, if any, switching each month

I do use my brother's Netflix tho

 

The ads on YouTube (and Tubi, my go to streaming platform these days) honestly don’t bother me too much. I just pick up my phone, glance at a few things real quick, and then am back to what I was watching.

No idea why anyone would want to watch that. But whatever. Maybe his answers are funny?

I watched the first 5 minutes or so before I couldn't anymore. If you're into a guy waxing on about how spamming slow motion "makes action sequences look like paintings" or talking too long about the superiority of the 4:3 ratio or how every movement in fight scenes should be planned out in detail in storyboard maybe it's for you.

 

He is pretty good at action scenes. Might not be the worst thing in the world to watch if one wanted insight on that. Christopher Nolan studies Michael Bay.

 

I’m so glad Patrick Willems made a video about Zack Snyder calling him a “himbo auteur,” because that’s such a perfect distillation of his brand to me, lol.

 

Watching what I did of that basically just reinforced my belief that Snyder is a hack even more honestly

 

Snyder's Dawn of the Dead is better than a lot of the movies that get released. The only other one I ever saw was 300, which is nauseating.

 

I have a lot more DC comics than Marvel but I like the MCU a lot more than the DCEU. Birds of Prey and Gunn's Suicide Squad are the only ones I revisit. I find it weird that DC fans made such a big deal out of the Snyder Cut and Phillips' Joker, the latter to the point that I can't be bothered to watch it because its fans just rub me the wrong way

 

Yeah I’d consider his Dawn of the Dead remake to be one of the best remakes of all time. I enjoy some other stuff to varying degrees but his output since Man of Steel is the worst shit he’s done. He seems like he’s a good dude but I think it’s time for directors jail
