YouTube Premium. I'm currently on my brother's family plan. I preached the quality of life benefits of not watching YouTube ads to my friend group and they have all adopted. They now refer to themselves as "Premium Men" and look down apon the general population

 

Too many

 

I pay for Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Peacock, and YT Premium. Fiance pays for Apple TV and Paramount. We use her parents Max and her sister's Disney+

 

I had a man approach me at a friend's child's 1st birthday recently. He called me the YouTube Premium man, I was confused. He said 2 year ago at the other child's 1st birthday I had been going on about how great it was and he went home and tried it and it changed his life.
We proceeded to chat about all the videos we had been watching, he had been getting into aviation and I had just watched a video on air superiority.

 

this is like half a step away from "we are the master race" kinda talk

 

I pay for Netflix for the parents, Apple TV, Prime, Hulu comes with my Spotify account and I mooch Disney Plus. Been thinking of subbing one of those for YouTube. I truly, truly hate their intrusive ads.

I saw something the other day about people on average subscribing to 2 or 3 and I was really surprised. Why not bounce around from month to month? Is it access to stuff like comfort shows?

A lot of it is probably laziness or apathy. The thought of constantly recalibrating my services feels exhausting and annoying even if it’s financially sensible.

I pay for Netflix, HBO, and Prime. And I think I get Apple for free. That’s plenty for now.

 

I pay for HBO, Netflix, Prime, Paramount+, Apple TV+, Hulu/Disney+ bundle, MLB TV, Peacock, and Shudder. The last two are my churn ones. Everything else I watch regularly enough that it's more annoying to cancel and reactivate, and I always go for the annual subscription over monthly when possible.

 

YouTube Premium comes with YouTube music which has shameless ripped off Spotifys exact UI. It has all the same features so If you already pay for Spotify just cancel that, get YouTube Premium and start living a premium life free of disgusting ads.

I don't want to be a corporate mouthpiece and I would steal from YouTube if I could. I'm just a man who drinks 4 beers at 1st birthdays and wants to help you live a better life.
