I have all my tickets from like 2002 on (including concerts and sports events) until they stopped printing them. It sucks.

I never noticed how out of control the Pepsi product placement is in Terminator 2.

We were talking about the old days of "full screen" and that is how I watched it the first five dozen times or so as a kid on a small CRT television, and there are things you just completely miss that way. I never noticed until now that the guy thrown out the window at the bar is still on the car hood when the Terminator walks out. The way the Terminator stands guard when they are hiding in the garage and the scene transitions from night to dawn is more powerful with the camera pulled back like that.

I was looking forward to the obvious body double in the motorcycle chase scene, but other than the big difference in tan it isn't really that bad. The end is still a tearjerker, even for those who usually never cry in movies.

When I worked at Nielsen one of the jobs there were the people who watch TV shows all day, make note of all the product placements, and then write survey questions around them. It was such a cake gig, wish I would have applied for it before they did their hiring freeze.

I also knew a few people that got into the Neuro Measurement side, which is where they have panelists watch TV and ads with EEGs hooked up to their heads and measure their brainwaves. Which is gnarly and dystopian.

On a scale of 1-5, how likely are you to purchase a bag of Heez-I the next time you visit the grocery store?

You can just keep a screenshot of the ticket or print it at home

There are people on Etsy who print concert and theater tickets that wouldn't be way too expensive or anything

I have a printer at home but I want a ticket stub not an 8x11 sheet of paper.

What's more bothersome when watching something, product placement or someone going to a bar and ordering "a beer", which people would think you're insane if you did in real life?

Yeah just any sort of beer. What bothers me is when people just leave doors open.

Just saw this in my recent rewatch of the first X-Men film. Logan orders a “beer” at the bar when he meets Rogue.

It doesn’t bother me, but I noticed it. I find product placement to be more bothersome. But not all product placement is bothersome. It depends.

Product placement is usually more funny than anything else.

I am always bothered when characters meet at a restaurant for a tense moment. They either get up and leave without ordering, which must really annoy the server, or the scene ends. Do they just stay at dinner together?

  21. Is there anything more distracting in a movie or tv show than an over-the-shoulder shot and the person's mouth doesn't line up with what their voice is saying? Like, it's not that hard. Just turn the camera a little bit more so we can't see their lips moving!

Then print it out as a ticket stub, you dunce
