Do you make money doing this or is it all a hobby

 

I can’t imagine having no idea what movie I’m watching.

 

I'm very careful in the selection of movies I'm watching. If I'm going to spend my time watching something, I would at least like it to be something I'm remotely interested in.

Granted you probably could find some hidden gems or things you didn't think you would like by watching anything, but having 0 idea is kind of wild.

It’s all I’m truly passionate about so to me it’s more than a hobby. I make money but not enough to quit my day job or anything.

 

For sure. That's how I am. If I sit down to watch a movie, the only way I'll be able to really focus on it is if it's one I am interested in. Learning about new obscure 80s horror movies is one way I like to spend my time, when I'm not in the mood to do music and am feeling kinda lazy.

 

I don't throw on random things in the moment but my watchlist is over 1,000 deep and i'd say most of them i know nothing about other than being told to watch them

 

wish I could be like your wife, but instead I over analyze every title for 45 minutes, fail to make a choice, and end up watching Seinfeld or something

 

That’s 100% me too haha. Drives her crazy.

 

Looking for so long i lose interest in watching anything is not uncommon for me

 

I legitimately have to force myself to watch something new sometimes and then about halfway through I'm like "oh, I actually really like this, why was I so anxious?"

On RokuTV and SamsungTV or whatever else, there’s a channel that just plays old Unsolved Mysteries episodes 24/7 and it’s glorious

 

It's on Pluto TV too

 

I am wondering if another giant conglomerate is gonna jump in and make a play for Paramount, like a Google, Microsoft, Sony, Amazon, ect.

 

Update: We're watching an episode and Matthew McConaughey is playing a murder victim in this re-enactment lol
