I saw Beau is Afraid and someone had like a 7 year old with them

 

Brayden is afraid

 

Doing a rewatch of Fargo, but chronologically. So 4, 2, movie, 1, 3 .

 

Are they linked in any way? Never watched the show

 

Each season is standalone, but it is a shared universe where there are characters and story elements that carry over.

• Season 1 has a connection to the movie

• Season 2 is a direct prequel to season 1 where you some some of the main characters from season 1 as children.

• Season 3 has least one connection to season 1

• Season 4 has a connection to season 2

• There is one reoccurring character that shows up in 3 out of the 4 seasons.

 

I have no idea what that is so I guess I'm rich, I'm gonna go buy a new car now

 

I don’t know what that is but we did have a box that gave us all the PPV channels for a while

 

If only we had boxes to steal ad free streaming

 

my parents got a new box that is basically torrents for tv now. You dont have to download or seed anything but when you choose a show/movie you pick which pirate version you want to play and it looks like a torrent list.

 

I love that Timothy Olyphant has completely embraced and leaned into being typecast as a rugged western lawman type. Deadwood, Justified, Mandalorian, Fargo season 4 he basically plays the same type of character. Am I missing any?

My man has played a US Marshal or a former US Marshal in like 3 tv shows.

 

He played Lancer in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, which is kinda adjacent

 

He will always be Mickey from Scream 2 for me.

 

He was great in Santa Clarita diet. Wish he'd do more comedic things.

 

He was hysterical in Santa Clarita

 

Almost done with Fargo season 4. This would be so much better without Chris Rock. Huge casting mistake imo.

 

I recently learned from the Blowback podcast that the 2007 film Charlie Wilson's War was originally going to end with a flash forward of the first plane hitting the North Tower on 9/11, and it was going to take a more dark sartorial approach to Afghanistan, but Tom Hanks was like "guys this is coming out on Christmas". So they changed the ending to Charlie Wilson accepting an award from the CIA while teary eyed, and only just vaguely hinted at the Taliban's coming rise.

Could have been the best political satire of this era, but Good Guy Tom didn't want to upset anyone.

 

Very interesting! I don't know how the unions are related to a show like that, but pretty cool that he just walked out when he learned

 

I think Xochitl Gomez is supposed to be on DWTS, hopefully she doesn't scab so early in her career

 

Neither of those avengers movies should have come close to winner best picture. Not that the Oscars matter but cmon.

 

It's always a strange conversation because obviously the Avengers is not one of the best movies of any given year but the award goes to movies like Green Book and Avengers is a lot better than that.
