My dad had the VHS of Stop Making Sense growing up, and Talking Heads are one of his favorite bands, so that cover is seared into my mind, but strangely I never watched it until recently.

I dont have a parasocial relationship with YouTube reviewers, but I think I might with YouTube reactors. I find myself watching movie/tv reaction channels a lot. Especially ones where its someone who does a job reacting to a movie/show about that job.

it's so annoying that the loudest minority of any fandom are the most toxic. Whether it's Brie Larson in the MCU or Kelly Marie Tran in Star Wars, they're so quick to tear down women, and they're probably the same people who idolize Tyler Durden and Joker, completely missing the point of those films.
