One weekend isn't really indicative, time will two of those is an actual trend

 

To be fair, TMNT was released on a Wednesday. It made $45 million total and I think will have some good legs.

 

Not a lot of competition from other kids movies!

 

My Sunday 2pm showing of TMNT was like 95% full. Theater was also the busiest I have ever seen it.

 

I know. It just feels odd. But it didn’t do awful or anything.

I would bet a lot of families are going to Barbie or they’re saying “We have Ninja Turtles at home.” I think it’ll be like “Puss In Boots” and have legs, especially since we’re entering into dumping ground territory.

Im watching Die Hard With A Vengeance for the first time in years. Goddamn this shit rules so hard. Might be one of the best sequels of the last 30 years.

TIL Die Hard With A Vengeance was originally written as a Warner Bros vehicle for Brandon Lee named "Simon Says" with the Zeus character as a woman, then it got reworked as a Lethal Weapon sequel, then the script was bought by Fox and turned into Die Hard 3.

Originally the concept for Die Hard 3 had John McClaine fighting terrorists on a cruise ship, the studio then felt like this was too close to Under Siege. That script then got reworked into Speed 2: Cruise Control.

 

I’m actually pretty hyped to see Sabrina in that. Like, it’s very stupid but this will give her a lot of exposure.
