Zoolander 2 has that Benadryl Candysnatch role that I didn't mind at the time but I've come out since then so yeah I don't feel the need to put myself through that movie again

The third one is the worst, but the original is still so funny. The real mark of a successful parody film is that Dr. Evil is way more well known to people of a certain age than Blofeld.

 

The first one's batting average on jokes is like 98% and a lot of them are actually sneakily witty/smart. Plus it actually sorta has plot structure. Hell, even Tom Arnold is fucking funny in it.

We rarely discuss books in here, but my county has just sent a second round of books to be pulled because of far-right concern trolling. I lost count of the books but some of the highlights are Slaughterhouse-Five, The Kite Runner, and The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

The way it works is that anyone, even someone without children in the school system and someone who doesn't even live locally, can challenge any book. When it is challenged, it is immediately pulled from all district schools until a book committee can read the entire book and then vote on it. Of course, that will take months if not years.

 

Ooooooh is there a hotline? I'd like to challenge some religious books and anything they've got about Reagan.

 

We actually just got done reading Oedipus the King and we did The Handmaid's Tale last semester. I wonder how long those will last.
