  1. I’ve seen 29 1/2 of the movies from that list. Never finished A Serious Man.

I've seen 20ish and didn't like at least 5 of them

  9. I’ve seen 14 of those movies, and haven’t heard of the vast majority of the others. Out of the 14 I’ve seen, most of them I probably wouldn’t even consider watching a second time.

I think the only ones I’ve seen more than once are Wall-E, Before Sunset, Get Out, and Zodiac.

  11. I didn't read the article, only skimmed the list, I've seen 16 of those movies. I didn't recognize a lot of the poc ones, I think they're mostly foreign films rather than American films starring poc. Also, looks like there's only one superhero movie, one horror movie, and one animated movie. Quite a few queer films, tho, so that's nice.

what is it with people on twitter assuming that everyone is going to know what movie they're talking about from a single shot, if you haven't seen the movie then you would have no idea

I don't think they are for a wide audience. The inner circle is probably well aware of Silence/A Serious Man.

I see it constantly regardless of the film, and literally every time there is a response asking what film it is. It takes very little to just say the name of the film from the start

What they should be showing is the name of the movie
