George Lucas is the answer that has the best shot at creating a better timeline

 

Nolan is the worst of the bunch. Wright still has Hot Fuzz, Lucas still has THX 1138, and del Toro still has Pan's Labyrinth. Lee, Tarantino, and Scorsese shouldn't have to be around the rest.
