My grandmother loves it

 

Is it good though? I remember having a lot of problems with it.

 

I enjoyed it the whole way through, never was diehard for it, but always enjoyable.

 

I also feel like it paved the way for a lot of shows after it

 

i haven't seen the show but from what i've heard of her lena dunham gives off "white feminist" vibes

 

I remember her casting Donald Glover as a republican. At least we got Adam Driver out of it.

 

It was really good a lot of the time. It had its flaws that seem symptomatic of the creator but it transcended her often.

 

Similar to 30 Rock though, it’s told from a late 2000s/early 2010s white liberal feminist lens, but partially as a function to critique it

 

We were pretty into it through two seasons and then just stopped watching it for a reason I do not recall. Looking at the wiki now I'm quite shocked to see it lasted six seasons.

 

I watched the first two seasons and stopped after that. My girlfriend just started watching it a few weeks back. It’s better than I remember from the bits and pieces I’ve popped in for.

 

it definitely seems too late to watch it now but Zosia and Allison Williams both seem cool

 

I love her in Get Out, The Perfection, and M3gan and didn't know she was in Girls

 

Lena Dunham is insufferable, but Girls is extremely self conscious of that. So many critiques of the show are about how privileged and shitty the women are, but that could not more obviously be the point of the show

Also there are genuinely fantastic episodes on a drama level throughout the show’s run. The later-season episode of Marnie reuniting with Charlie and spending a day with him is heartbreaking

 

I watched the whole series as it aired, so I guess I didnt totally hate it at the time, but I'd rather do anything else than rewatch even an episode of Girls.

 

I loved Girls at the time and I'm funnily enough rewatching it at the moment because my wife's never seen it and it's even better than I remember.

 

Girls is a top 5 worst show I’ve ever watched

 

You must have only seen good shows cuz girls is way good

 

It was good, had brilliant moments, and lots of low points. Like most shows.
