It's weird watching Lost in Translation now because the plot line of American movie stars only doing ads overseas makes no sense now.

There was this pushback to calling a sellout a sellout, but it is a real problem. If you are a young actor trying to make a name for yourself you can appear in all the garbage you want, but you are wasting time and talent if you slum it.

 

My second favorite “ATJ.” Can’t believe the arc I’ve had with him, from total ambivalence to “oh hey, it’s him.”
