I think I saw it over a year after it came out. Was it in the theaters that long or maybe rereleased?

I haven’t watched it since 2020 but it’s so good. My fave of his.

I watched Aliens recently and was kinda bummed to feel like it was losing its luster

 

Alien is the better movie but Aliens is more fun and rewatchable.

As a four eyes, wearing 3D glasses is uncomfortable. And when there’s fast motion and it all gets super ugly and blurry, it gives me a migraine.

I haven’t seen a movie in 3D in at least 12 years

 

I’m on the “fuck 3d” train as well

 

3D is good, actually. It’s just not something I feel like doing all the time, and it sucks when it’s a post-converted blockbuster. But, a good 3D movie experience? It slaps.

I haven’t had an eye appointment in 15 years but last time I went it was 20/20!

 

I was driving without glasses for far too long. I just squinted reeeeal hard at the DMV

lol I was in high school so probably longer than 15 years but I hated the eye exam it made me feel sick. I probably do need glasses at this point though.

 

I have good vision in my right eye but my left is whack. A doctor told me once I probably had a lazy eye as an infant/toddler and my brain became way more dependent on my right side. If I cover right and only use left, everything is fuzzy and I struggle to focus, feels jittery almost? I also haven’t been to an eye doctor since high school lol

 

time for lasik

 

My fiancé got lasik when she graduated college a few years back and now she has a ton of trouble seeing at night! Weird!

 

plus she has 5g in her eyeballs

 

Is that how they collect our data? And I thought the bots they put in vaccinations were bad!

 

Unfortunate nu-metal aside, Miami Vice is only beginning to receive the attention it deserves.

 

I saw the trailer for Mindy Kaling’s new Velma tv show and it apparently just doesn’t have Scooby at all, what a load of shit

 

It also looked terrible overall.

 

Watching Tar. I feel like one of the biggest stories to come from this upcoming Oscars is Cate Blanchett getting into the very small "more than 2 Oscars for acting" club. Would put her with the same amount of wins as Streep, Nicholson, Day-Lewis, McDormand, ect

Would be crazy if Blanchett ends up getting 4 eventually and becomes the first person to match Hepburn's Oscar record, when one of Blanchett's wins is actually for playing Hepburn in The Aviator.
