I wish I liked Llewyn more. Maybe it's one I have to revisit.

I havent seen intolerable Cruelty or The man who wasnt there, and i cant remember anything about lady killers but I did finish watching it, the only thing i can remember about Hail Caesar was that i stopped watching because I wasnt enjoying it.

 

Have the Coens talked about what led to them making a movie as bad as Ladykillers? It is a whole different level of bad for them

On Friday, my manager told me that he watched the first 2 episodes of Breaking Bad and then the very last episode. He says he does that with lots of shows, and books too.

That reminds me of the one time I read the last page of one of the Harry Potter books for some reason and then the entire time reading the book I’m like why are they scared of this dude it’s his uncle!!

It is worse when people watch things at 1.25 or even 1.5 speed.

 

This is fucking insane.

 

Burn After Reading, while by no means their best or my favorite, might be underrated

 

All of these weird viewing habits are a result of the idea that you "have to" experience certain things despite the reality of a full-time job and all of our other commitments. You are better off never watching something than watching it wrong. When you get time, experience it the way the artist intended.
