My students asked me to put something on 1.25 speed. How broken have we become that we want to finish something that is supposed to be entertaining more quickly?

 

Only thing I listen to at faster speeds are audiobooks. Occasionally a podcast.

 

Truly scary trends right now. Streaming was supposed to be the golden age, with everything at our fingertips.

 

I thought the only times people played things at 1.5x was when we listened to Neighborhoods songs to hear what they’d sound like if 1999 Tom was singing them…?

 

I don't even get how this shit works but it seems like it should be illegal.

 

This is why I still download stuff I like. Unless my hard drive crashes one day, no one can take my happiness away.

When I was a kid they had it in vending machines and KFC used to have it too. Now you have to go to a grocery store or a convenience store.
