I don’t disagree but it was terrible. Like, how did this get made terrible. I’m at a point personally where I’m tired of settling for D- shows just because of representation. Our movies and television shows have been shit quality for so long. I’m looking for more than just representation at this point, it’s gotta be good

Tarantino has some very out there movie opinions, but Godard mostly hates everyone who came after him.

 

You should already be subscribed to MUBI, but The Tsugua Diaries is on there now and it might be the best film of 2022. I Am Love (same director of Call Me By Your Name) is also on there. And you only have one more day to watch Malmkrog!

I have never heard of that movie.

 

I’ve seen the trailer 50 times because they’ve played it before every movie I’ve seen the last 3+ months.

The only trailer I've seen a borderline obnoxious amount of times in the last three months has been Three Thousand Years of Longing. That one looks pretty good though and I'm aiming to see it this week.

 

It’s very good, haven’t seen the trailer recently but I feel like it may make the movie seem much more lively than it is.

 

The Invitation is not good but not bad

The last trailer I got tired of seeing in theaters was Smile. Also Beast.

 

This week and early September has always sucked at the box office

 

The trailer definitely leans into having "the creator of Mad Max" and tries to sell it as that kind of movie.

I generally get to the theater once or twice a weekend. This is what I’m going to try to see the rest of the year. I’m sure more will come up.

 

It's definitely sad how empty the release calendar is, definitely some months I just barely use a list

 

I only know about The Invitation because of really stupid integration advertising with this season of Big Brother

The window head roll shot is so annoying

 

Seeing some hype for Barbarian. Hoping it’s a surprise like Malignant.
