people who make movies and TV begging people to fake watch a whole season of a show in one sitting so that it counts towards Netflix’s terrible metrics and they don’t cancel it instantly #scorsesewasright

 

That is an interesting parallel to an older interview with Matt Damon I saw recently. He talked about how home video was almost like a second box office weekend opening, so studios would take more chances on projects that might not be a huge initial success. Whatever streaming is paying, it isn't comparable.

 

It's not my fault if someone's show sucks heh. Put out a good show and people will watch.

Netflix would have canceled Friday Night Lights or Community the first couple days after their season ones came out without a thought

 

it's also a good thing if people watch things at different paces, personally I can't binge and need to let episodes marinate after watching them

 

I haven't seen First Kill but it's pretty upsetting that yet another sapphic show is canceled. Like, sometimes I don't get to things right away.
