I didn't go to sleep until 6 am this morning, woke up at 11:15 am, worked at home from noon to 8:30, and i'm probably not going to go to sleep until after midnight tonight. I'm almost 34.

I saw this trailer before Where The Crawdads Sing a couple of days ago and think it looks great

 

Picked up the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy for cheap off Amazon and have been going through the commentary listens. First time realizing that Cate Blanchett was in Hot Fuzz.

I need to start 30 Rock sooner than later. Are there things you have to know like "the first season is rough" or "it gets worse when X leaves the show" or is it mostly consistent?

 

I really think it’s great all the way through

 

The first season is good but takes maybe half the season to warm up and find its voice but s2-4 or 5 are an incredible stretch. Late seasons are pretty good too, just not up to the peak

 

If I can’t stand Tina Fey will I still enjoy it?

I never could get into it, that type of humor just didn't do it for me

 

The show is a satire that mocks her centrist liberal Hollywood feminist archetype, so if you read it as a critique of her maybe that’d help. I also think she’s good and funny in the role.

 

Can we do this but for a fourth film in the Before series?

30 Rock starts off rough but gets decent near the end of the first season, then it’s nonstop for the rest and just grows more insane as the show goes on. Probably the single best sitcom tbh. And one of the best tv show endings

 

Really enjoyable interview. The mcu line will get the clicks but I thought the entire interview was fantastic

 

My gf is currently watching a newer episode of SVU and it’s fucking bad and I hate how much they wrote Covid into this episode.
