  4. Looks like a new tv show rewatch podcast just came out recently. Pod Meets World, featuring Eric, Topanga, and Shawn from Boy Meets World.

Watched the first episode of TalkVille, it was entertaining enough, but not sure if it's something I'll really keep up with. Was glad I had rewatched the pilot ahead of time

Yeah it was okay and I would like for it to get a little better as they get more comfortable. It is interesting how Tom Welling seems to have almost resented Smallville at one point. I just rewatched the series at the start of covid so I’m still relatively fresh with it

Watching Rosemary's Baby for the first time. Damn I can't believe this movie was made in 1968. Still hold holds up. Probably feels more relevant today being that all of the best horror movies of the past 5 years were clearly influenced by it. Looking forward to that "secret" prequel Paramount is currently making.

They’re the logical endpoint when you erase the auteur. As the conflicting quotes show, they believe in, value, and are inspired by nothing, their movies look like shit so it doesn’t matter if audiences look at their phones or watch their movies on their phones, so it makes sense that they’re the faces of Disney and Netflix because they exemplify the degradation of cinema into content that Scorsese rightly criticized Marvel and Disney for.

When you look at the most successful movies of the last fifty years, you see these giants like Lucas and Spielberg and Cameron, but now these two people no one would recognize at Chili's are on top.

Coincidentally, they are anti-auteur theory as well. They think it started in the Seventies, though, so their film history knowledge can't be too deep.

I still want financial compensation for “we’re introducing Marvel’s first LGBT character please pay us on the back we’re making history” just for one of the brothers to sit across from Chris Evans and say the word “husband”

Reminds me of those "watching Star Wars in a weird order makes it better" things

I think the one i heard was like 1)Start with A New Hope. 3)Empire. 4)then go back and watch Episodes II and II while skipping I. 5) end it on Jedi. 6)pretend the sequel trilogy didn't happen. Something like that

I mean the correct way is to just watch until your tired or have to stop because of other commitments or whatever and then pick it back up later if you’re compelled to. If not, then just don’t finish it.

That being said, if I know I’m not gonna have time to finish something, but I want to start it anyway, I’m not gonna be mad that someone out there made a guide of a good stopping point.

Everyone can make extra 3.5 hours in their day. Just don't sleep. Who cares movies are more important anyway.

  25. I'm an old person so after work I have to eat dinner, okay with the kid, get him to bed, and then I go to bed at like 10 lol.

I'm jealous of people that can operate on five hours of sleep.
