I just found out about TJ. I'm really in shock. Thank you for posting the news Jared. I was hoping someone shared it. I'm going over my messages and the last conversations I had with him. I can't believe it. Over a decade of movie conversations, end of the year lists, Oscar pools, etc. I'm so sorry for his family's loss and I wish we had had the chance to meet. RIP.

 

I have only ever seen the "butterfly" shape at movie theaters. The other one is from store-bought stuff which never compares.

 

Is this true? I would gag.

That sounds delightful. I get so excited when I order a burger and there's a pickle spear on the side.

 

I always get the side pickles when my fiancé orders a sandwich or burger and gets one

 

Pickles are disgusting. It is offensive when you order a sandwich and they put it on your plate with its juices threatening your tasty things.

 

I wanna make my own pickles this summer

 

Pickles are good.

 

Dill pickle potato chips are fire, too

 

Pickles make me gag. I hated them as a kid and my sister would soak her fingers in pickle juice and rub it all in my lips and gums and the taste would linger for days lol. Remains a visceral reaction when I bite into one accidentally.

 

I remember working in a restaurant and carrying those huge jugs of pickles around. Truly a traumatizing event.

 

Pickles are fine I guess can be tasty if done right. That being said I feel like there are two universal truths

1) Side pickles that make your sandwich soggy with their juices are the worse

2) Movie theaters should smell like popcorn not pickles

 

I'm surprised how many people go all out and order stuff like pizzas or chicken tenders. The movie theater experience means popcorn, soda, and candy.

I do agree with this though

 

Buncha crunch and milk duds are the quintessential candy at the theater

 

Bottle caps

 

Reese's Pieces or Cookie Dough Bites.
