Watching The Godfather for the first time since college and feel so dumb for not realizing that’s Robert Duvall until just now.

 

The saddest part about the Godfather is what happened to Duvall's hairline in two short years between Part I and II.

I am finally watching King of New York. It rules

 

Rewatching garden state for the first time since high school and at first I thought this isn’t as bad as it’s reputation and then Natalie Portman came in and yikes!

 

Fishburne is incredible in it

 

He stands out, absolutely, but Everyone is! Caruso really surprised me in this, only knowing him for the CSI shows

also the fire hydrant cop is from Street Trash and Frankenhooker

 

How is this any different than saying the indie movie should pay more? Most people would leave their job for someone paying better

 

The blame isn't on the individuals choosing more money and a job that will get them more exposure, it is that Disney can flood the market and price everyone else out. The indie production isn't being greedy and withholding pay but instead can't match it. Disney only pays what it has to (their theme park employees are infamously underpaid).

 

Life is too short for some of you to make us all remember Garden State.

TIL there was going to be a Voltron: Legendary Defender movie following up on the less-than-stellar ending, but when Hulu gained exclusive rights to Dreamworks, all projects they had going with Netflix were canned, including the movie.

Massive bummer.

yes, absolutely. they have their own channel with original programming too. it’s odd.

 

It's great because it's a stapler and a staple remover, which are natural enemies, so it works on multiple levels.
