Real popcorn cooked on a stove tastes better than the movie theater, but the butter itself is inferior.

The butter (or whatever it is) tastes like its baked into the popcorn itself. It's magical.

I was very happy to see the fresh popcorn coming out when I went to the theater on Monday. There is a theater near here that pre-bags them and puts in a warmer and it ruins the day.

When it comes out of popping, it already has butter and salt. How does that work?

You need to hold a lighter to each individual kernel to bring out its full flavor

I just use one of these at home. Popcorn comes out great every time.

Buy some decent popcorn. I get something buttered but not a crazy amount of butter. Melt some butter in the microwave before you pop the popcorn. After you pop the popcorn mix it with the butter in a giant bowl and add some salt. It’s delicious and the butter isn’t too hot that it makes the popcorn soggy.

No see you have to grow and harvest the corn yourself

Yeah if you aren’t being a farmer, wearing jeans, drinking beer, and growing your own corn everything else is moot.

If you can tolerate 10mins of obnoxious youtubers the key looks to be clarifying butter and blending salt.

This ones more complicated but he recommends brands of popcorn and butter to use.
