I've been following this the last few weeks and it's super sad. My question is why just 2? Don't they have 4 children? I know Cody looks to be the one that was bullied the most and Emma was shown being slapped in another video, but just because the other two weren't shown on camera being abused doesn't mean there isn't stuff going on behind the scenes.

 

Apparent;y, IMDBPro lists Syncopy as the production company for Bond 25. Nolan possibly directing or producing a James Bond movie?

EDIT: Syncopy is also listed as the production company for an untitled Keith Gordon project and the Splinter Cell movie, so who knows.

Having movie conversations with co-workers and acquaintances can be really rough. I generally pick up on any movie references or people trying to remember the name of something or an actor or whatever, but that leads to genuine confusion that I have no plans to see Marvel Movie number 43 (this week: Guardians of the Galaxy) or when I do not take up their recommendations to watch something they enjoyed. A lot of people accuse cinephiles of being snobbish, but it is much more often that the hardcore mainstream audiences is suspicious and condescending to everyone else.

 

Guardians might be the one to watch. Gunn has a Troma background and is talented

 

The first one was enough.

 

I work at a theatre and get hated on all the time for liking "boring" movies.

 

On what I thought was a regular December day, a coworker came up to me and said "Did you see it!?". I had no idea what he was talking about, but he was talking about the latest Star Wars movie. I was not aware we had elevated these things to being so universal that it is just assumed you see it.

 

This is how I feel about sports.

Edit: I'm a twenty-something year old male so everyone just assumes I like sports. I've had people genuinely seen offended when I told them I don't watch football. Could you imagine if I walked the earth assuming everyone liked Terrence Malick or something like that? It's ridiculous.
