Yes, and that role was inspired by Williams' stand-up so it was a great casting.

Why shoot on location, working weird hours and enduring physical acting, when you can stroll in to a studio and read off the script like it is the first time you've seen it?

People have been foolish to bet against James Cameron before, but I don't see how all of this ends up working. The formats people use to watch films is going in the opposite direction as Cameron's sweeping epics.

 

No doubt Cameron imagines himself as someone who will single-handedly save movie theaters

I actually think the commercial would be more impactful if amc made this a "come back to the theater" campaign. Make it seem about it doesn't really matter if you go to a small place or amc

Finally watching Mad Men for the first time. I’m a few episodes into season 2, it’s phenomenal. Elizabeth Moss is so good, and Vincent Kartheiser plays such a slimy piece of shit.

 

gets way better right after that, specifically seasons 3-5

 

yeah it didn’t really click for me until the end of season 2. season 3 was decent but 4-6 have been great. i’m on the penultimate ep of season 6 now.
