i've been only wearing sweat pants or board shorts for the last year and a half. i don't think i even own a belt.

 

I prefer not to wear belts, I only do if my jeans start getting loose for some reason. Would never willingly wear shorts or sandals, I won't even wear a t-shirt unless it gets ridiculously hot.

 

I have a belt for every pair of pants I own.

 

the only belt you need is a black belt in karate amirite, I only wear a belt if I absolutely have to I'm lazy and they're uncomfortable

 

now that's dedication

 

This is only acceptable if you only have one pair of pants.

 

Suspenders actually make more sense to hold your pants up but Big Belt was successful in relegating suspenders to weddings and guys like this

 

Finally watched the Woodstock doc last night. Some of the narratives felt a little forced, but overall I found it to be very fascinating. John Scher should be beaten into a coma in front of a cheering crowd.

 

I have to wear a belt. I got no ass so my pants will start to slide down without one.

 

Belts are fine. Don't see any objection. Prefer them to suspenders.

Some recent film/tv thoughts:

-other than the weird AI VoiceOver shit, I thought the Anthony Bourdain doc was great. Really enjoyed that one.

-Absolutely loved Pig...it really fucked me up when I found out the co-star was one of the Naked Brothers.

-My buddy and I watched 8 Million Ways to Die the other night and it was....not good. Pacing and plot development were all over the place. Andy Garcia and Jeff Bridges were good though.

-Started watching Ted Lasso with the girl I've been seeing, great show. Feels like a rarity that a show can be positive and wholesome without coming off as totally schlocky, and I am loving it.

 

So you haven't seen Hereditary is what you're saying?

Both of them are in a ton of movies

 

- Hawaiian Punch is gross and for children
- Ben Stiller exists purely because his father is a god damn legend
- Belts are fine I guess but idk just buy shit that fits

 

It is strange how sexless movies have become over the last decade. The only real passion you see anymore is in LGBT movies like Weekend or Call Me By Your Name or Portrait of a Lady on Fire.

 

I hate pants, but when I go to work I wear them with a belt so my asscrack doesnt show when I sit down.

But due to covid, I'm still work from home, and I've work pants once in the last year and a half. So that's nice.

 

I haven't worked from home in actual jeans or khakis in 2 years lol. Always PJs or sweat pants

 

I assumed everyone worked from home in the nude.

exactly. that's asking for trouble. what if you have to fart? there's a slim chance it's a shart, and then it turns into a whole thing, and you have to buy a new chair and everything. not worth it.

 

Plus, who enjoys the feeling of leather peeling off their skin?

 

I like shorts for around the house but hate when it’s so hot in the summer I have to wear them hot. Pants > shorts.
