It depends on the situation. Coke is spicier so it is a nice drink when you need caffeine, but the sweetness of Pepsi makes it a better dessert drink.

besides really cold water, that list is literally my bottom 10 drinks, probably.

 

I’d pick Coke but this whole thing I see that’s like “Pepsi is an abomination” is so ridiculous, they don’t taste THAT different.

Coke and Pepsi taste very different but that doesn't make Pepsi an abomination.

Coke is better though.

Pepsi is Walmart

 

They are interchangeable. My mother always bought whichever one was on sale so I never became too partisan to one or the other.

 

Pepsi is ok every now and then but Coke is obviously superior

 

If I'm at a restaurant or something and order a Coke, and they say "is Pepsi ok?" I alwayyyys say no and then ask for either root beer or Dr Pepper

 

have you ever once heard them say "is Coke ok?"

 

A girlfriend in high school was very mad that I had never had Dr. Pepper and refused to try it. It smells too weird.

 

I don't really drink much soda anymore but if I'm ever ordering one and they only have Pepsi instead of Coke, it's a totally fine substitute.

That said, I don't really ever order either soda when I'm out. Mostly just stick to water while I'm eating.

 

The only reason @TJ Wells thinks Pepsi and Coke don't taste different is because when he orders a Pepsi, instead of asking if Coke is ok, they just do him a favor and bring him the Coke so he assumes it's Pepsi, and then probably tells his friends, "the Pepsi here is REALLLLLLLLY goooood! We're gonna have to remember this place!"

 

This restaurant we used to go to all the time switched to one of those generic sodas, either RC Cola or Shasta or something like that. It was so strange because fountain drinks are usually one of the most profitable things in a restaurant. I didn't go there for years after that.

 

RC is pretty good

 

Shasta Cola is badddddddd

the only acceptable Shasta flavors are Strawberry Kiwi or Raspberry Creme. And maybe Lemon Lime if it's the only option available in an old Shasta vending machine outside of your local grocery store.

 

I don't even think I've ever had a Shasta

 

I drink Coke pretty much every day and don't like Pepsi much. Cherry Coke is my favourite.

 

I'm in the rarely drinking soda camp, but I think the only one's I'd go for are:

Dr. Pepper
Root Beer (preferably Barq's)
Sprite
7up
Coke

 

A 6 pack is like $1.50 haha. Go dip your beak into that shit. it's basically like the store brand sodas at Walmart though.
