I remember watching Home Movies and Spongebob all the time when i was a bit younger.
I watch South Park all the time now

The Simpsons is my favorite, Futurama is up there too, it's weird that I see cartoons as a separate entity, like if someone asks my favorite show I automatically assume the mean live action, same with movies

Simpsons is the all time. Bojack and Rick and Morty are two of the best things on tv. Love Bob's Burgers, Futurama, King of the Hill, Adventure Time, Bravest Warriors, Bee and Puppycat, Young Justice, Gravity Falls.

Clone High is a personal favorite. I adore it.

I loved Clone High during the brief time it was on. Never seen it since then.

I remember JFK making a pun on the word dinghy, of course that's the one joke I remember

"Hey you, get off my dinghy! ... Not you!"

They should all do a movie in which they play themselves celebrating their birthday together.

missed this but re: best animated series besides the more obvious choices:
Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Daria, Home Movies, Frisky Dingo, Venture Bros, China IL, Harvey Birdman and Superjail! are all great

I still really need to watch Sealab and Space Ghost and more of the classics

Also, recently watched King of the Hill front to back and I definitely didn't get its brilliance when I was younger

It's so unfortunate that Beavis and Butthead doesn't really air anymore. The current generation of kids deserves to grow up with it.

At least they still have Arthur

The Simpsons is miles ahead of everything else. Of the lesser known shows, 3 South and Clone High are always my picks. Love Clerks the Animated Series too

That's what I'm saying! They were a cultural phenomenon but the music video segments mean they can't really be aired anymore and people aren't being reminded how great they are

I often try to promote John from Cincinnati, a television drama that only had ten episodes. However, when it comes to television comedies, I would love for more people to see That's My Bush!, the South Park guys riffing on Eighties sitcom via the former President. At only eight episodes, you could do worse in terms of wasting your time. It has an episode where the leader of the pro-choice movement is an aborted fetus and even has a "wacky neighbor" to the White House.

On my way to better things Moderator

I'm not sure any cartoon could beat the first 8/9 years of The Simpsons. I will also note that the first 3 seasons of Family Guy are great.
