Same, I have never heard anyone talk about it until now. I always thought it was one of those blah big budget period pieces that makes no impact and is built for playing on cable at 3 PM.

 

Not 24/7. Only deranged people wear shoes in their home.

 

I haven’t worn sandals since I was like 5. Socks 24/7, and sometimes I’m deranged and wear shoes around the apartment too.

 

Moneyball is so good. I can’t imagine Tetra cares about baseball though. Plus Brad chewing is always hot

 

I dont care about baseball and I highly enjoy moneyball.

 

Baseball is a boring sport, but that has nothing to do with the quality of the movie.

 

Why would you track in outside dirt and grime into your home?

 

Yeah wearing shoes inside is wild. I agree with Tetra on that one.

 

Once you have kids and are over 40 you're allowed to wear shoes inside. Idk why but that is the rule. No kids and/or under 40 and you should be thrown in prison.

I don't aaaactually wear shoes around my apartment on purpose. I'm usually a "kick my shoes off at the door and walk around in socks" kinda guy. But we also don't make guests take their shoes off because we have concrete floors and standing on them without shoes for long periods of time isn't very comfortable. We do clean and mop our floor regularly though.

 

Why don't you let them sit down?

 

We're a non-sitting household.

Haha just kidding. Obviously we let guests sit down. But if we have a lot of people over, sometimes there's not enough seating for everybody.

 

Undine was really, really great and I think Christian Petzold might lowkey be one of the best directors working right now.

Is Undine being released or something? I was wondering why more people are suddenly talking about it after all this time.

Transit was probably the best one, but Petzold has made five very interesting films in a row. I have not seen his earlier films, though.

 

IFC released it in the US on Friday

do Chantal Akerman or Kelly Reichardt as a video game

I know there were Godfather and Sopranos video games but I didn't play either. While I think adapting the story of a great film into a video game is probably the wrong way to go about it, I'm not opposed to an interpretation of a cinematic world done in a video game?

 

my real suggestion is an Ocean's Eleven/Twelve/Thirteen video game. Again not an adaptation of the movie stories, but I could get down with a Mass Effect 2 style game where you go about recruiting people for your crew then you have to try and execute a heist. I don't need CGI George Clooney and Brad Pitt, but maybe a couple of ancillary Ocean's guys are available.

 

Probably too soon but great casting

 

I just finished the Mass Effect 2 remaster last night. I have said it before, but it is a better world than the Star Wars universe.
