I'm just glad they are not films that I have already seen upon re-release, a nice variety as well which I wasn't expecting given my local cinema is a mainstream chain.

I’m totally for actors not jumping into the comic book movie world for a paycheck but I’ll say I can’t think of a better casting for Sue Storm. It’s almost too good for the role.

 

I always thought Saoirse would be good.

 

But I also don’t want her to be locked into a fucking eight movie superhero contract.

Reboots and remakes are happening at a much faster speed. The first version of Fantastic Four was so recent that Captain America was in it. For comparison, think of how long franchises like Star Wars or Jurassic Park used to stay dormant.

 

I’d love for superhero movies to just shut up already. Or 10 years ago.
