Didn't expect a cliffhanger lol, esp one that gave me horror vibes.

Yeah Vice Principals was a huge surprise for me, first episode felt like Kenny Powers goes to school but it became a great/totally different beast and I was hooked by the end

I had to look at the map for context with Fargo, Bemidji, Luverne, and Kansas City. Kind of angry to find out that the Kansas City they're referring to isn't in Kansas.

  4. Finished Fargo S2. Aesthetically, I preferred S1 more (just look at all the snow S1 had! and also S2's split screens got tiresome after a while), but I do think the focus on family relationships (Gerhardts, and to a lesser extent, Blumquists), rather than on a couple of single guys (Malvo and Nygaard) made for a stronger story.

Now to watch the movie haha

I'm gonna see if I can keep this up, watching a 10-13 episode season a week. What should I watch next?!?!

(maybe something lighter after ACS and Fargo)

Shows I'm in the middle of:
Party Down S1-ish (wherever I left off before it left Netflix)
    Better Call Saul S2
    Homeland S3
    House of Cards S3
    Mad Men S4
    The West Wing S4

Shows I might want to start:
    Bojack Horseman
    The Santa Clarita Diet
    A Series of Unfortunate Events
    Stranger Things
    Black Mirror
    Angie Tribeca
    Legion
    Into the Badlands

Has anyone looked into any of the Hulu Originals? Feels kind of odd to pay for Hulu and watch everything but Hulu shows.

Legion is by the same show runner as Fargo, Noah Hawley. It's a great watch.

Definitely stranger things and black mirror.

I also enjoyed Santa Clarita Diet quite a bit though it may not be everyone's thing.

    Definitely Stranger Things and Bojack

For Hulu originals, I've watched Casual which is very good, and 11.22.63 which I enjoyed a lot. Also The Mindy Project if that counts (started on Fox and got cancelled and saved by Hulu)

Teddy hitting himself in the leg with the rifle ricochet, as the dancing man smiles, is terrific black comedy.

  18. Started Bojack. I feel like I should be maybe just a little bit angry that Alison Brie is voicing an Asian character with my last name, but I don't know, Netflix did give Aziz Ansari his own show. Anyway, I enjoy Bojack so far, even though the self-deprecation can get a little too real and hit home a little too closely for me haha I thought this was supposed to be a fun comedy

Oh it's a comedy but it is definitely not always fun

I thought that about Diane as well. I mean it's a great character and she does a good job but I'm not sure why they couldn't cast an Asian actress

I won't comment on any race issue involving her casting, but Alison Brie is great as Diane.

And yeah, Bojack is as much a heavy drama as it is a laugh out loud comedy.

Todd's last name is Chavez, as well. What is weird is when you go further into the show Diane's family is obnoxiously stereotypically Boston.

And don't they have a single brother that isn't human? It makes no earthly sense

I think it is the only family that did that. Bojack's parents were both horses, Mr. Peanutbutter is related to other dogs. In that universe, what happens if Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter had a child?
