There is a very serious debate happening on Twitter comparing Jamie Foxx and Will Smith.

So who do you:
Prefer?
Think has a better body of work in music and film?
Find to be the more diverse or believable actor?


While I honestly might think Jamie Foxx has some solid diversity in his acting roles, slightly more than Will, I think I believe Will more onscreen and like his music more.

 

Foxx has been in far more interesting films.

 

Fresh prince is incredible still

 

Will Smith is a really good actor with one of the most conservative, boring filmographies of any major star. Foxx is not only the better actor, but also has more creative ambition to go alongside his mainstream aspirations

 

will’s music > jamie’s

 

This part seems obvious

 

I feel like Will is more consistent than Jamie but Jamie has picked more interesting roles.

 

Will gave us ID4 and MIB, back to back.

 

I think he’s been in some absolutely amazing films but also some real duds.

jamie also is better in horrible bosses than will is in most of his comedies

 

Will’s best acting is still the “why don’t he want me” scene from fresh prince.

 

That’s crazy. First time I’ve ever heard Collateral praised. I like it, but think both have far better.

Will Smith from the mid 90s through the 00s had probably one of the greatest blockbuster streaks ever. Bagger Vance was his only bomb.
