It is such a great mix of a classical old style prestige drama intercut with bizarre moments. Plainview is one of the all time great characters.

You never got the bluray or UHD!?

  3. the hype goes to DDL, deservedly so, but the supporting actors make up such a rich, dynamic full cast

Paul Thomas Anderson will probably go down as the greatest director of his generation. Tarantino has had too much of a fluctuating career.

Nah, but I am not a big blu ray collector. When I was in college I bought a shit ton of DVDs.

My brother took me to see TWBB in theaters and I had never seen a single trailer or heard a thing about it. I went in thinking it was a horror movie based on the title and my brother's taste in movies at the time.

Should 2007 be the first "Chorus Films of the Year" retrospective? I remember a little talk of a project like that and would enjoy it.

Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels remains the best Guy Ritchie film.

Paul Dano was incredible and received one single nomination out of all the awards. Idk if I'd take it from Bardem, but I'd absolutely kick out Wilkinson for a Dano nom. Maybe Holbrook but I never watched Into the Wild because that's a real bummer.

Into the Wild was probably my favorite movie at the time. It’s fallen in time but I still think of it fondly aside from Emile Hirsch being a dickhead
