I think there were 2 movies with RDJ

 

Somewhat on topic... Holmes and Watson is the worst movie I’ve ever seen

 

It’s soooo bad... which is so unfortunate.

but there’s a part where little Sherlock sucks a tear back up into his eye and, for some reason, I laughed WAY too hard at that. Sad that that was the only part of the movie that really made me laugh and it didn’t even feature any of the starring cast, haha. Just goes to show how bad it really was.

 

Truly awful.

 

I watched Beethoven lastnight for the first time in 100 years, haha. I remembered a lot more of it than I expected to.

Dick Johnson is dead made me feel equal parts ecstatic joy and brutal sadness and is probably the best movie I’ve seen this year.

 

I mean, a LOT has happened to Zuckerberg since the events of the first movie haha

 

I remember thinking the movie was too early since Facebook story was just beginnjnf but it wasn't so much about Facebook as it was...to me...more about a time and place.

The Bernie Bro thing was always disingenuous. Anyone who has encountered the fanatical Kamal Harris fans online know better.

 

Seemed inevitable. Other studios will follow suit. Looks like I need to speed up the timeline on getting a home theater.

 

Theaters are not going anywhere, certainly not soon. The next couple years will see a lot the major chains shutter large numbers of locations, sure...but the idea of going to the movies becoming like going to the theater, or a sporting event, is still relatively far off.

I’m really lucky I live in a city with a lot of independent, well frequented cinemas though, I’ll tell you what

 

Neither party will ever even attempt to address it, but Disney needs to be treated as a monopoly and broken up. They can essentially destroy the theater industry if they fully commit to the move to streaming.

 

Isn’t it crazy that 30 years ago Disney was on the verge of going under?

 

Love all the Orson content this week, it brings me so much joy.
