What show did you think they were talking about before 2013?

 

I really don't recall people talking about it prior to that. I would have only been 11 or 12 when The Shield came out and I also wasn't living in the US, so it wasn't exactly a topic of conversation among friends and family. I think this forum is the only place I've seen it mentioned.

 

In retrospect Sons of Anarchy was only good about half the time, mostly early on. I think I've read somewhere that Sutter is an asshole, so I haven't given Mayans a shot. I haven't seen Justified or The Shield, so I'm interested in how SoA compares.

 

I watched all of Sons of Anarchy a few years ago and really liked it, despite it being pretty cheesy at times.

 

Justified is one of my fav shows. I probably run through it once a year.

 

Need to mention You're the Worst if we're talking FX classics

 

I watched the first episode of Justified and really enjoyed it. I just never picked it back up. Charlie Hunnam's attempt at an American accent was way too distracting for me in SOA.

 

They have so many perfect shows that got to finish their runs as intended and it’s such a great thing. If I could only watch content from a few networks for the rest of my life, FX would absolutely be one of my choices.

 

I honestly had no idea until the show was almost over haha

 

i wouldn’t say legion is classic status but it’s also incredible

fosse verdon and devs were both very good miniseries

 

I loved season 1 of Legion but never really continued with it for some reason.

 

Hawley has a better batting average than Murphy but only because AHS has so many weak seasons. 1st season of ACS is incredible, but I haven't seen the later seasons or Pose.

 

Except for Terriers :/

 

Ughhh Terriers should've had AT LEAST one more season

 

Ahahaha I was waiting for someone to mention that. It’s definitely a shame but also pretty remarkable that they have so few unfairly canceled shows period. That and The Riches are the only ones I can think of quickly, compared to countless examples on something like Netflix or a standard network. The Riches does hurt though...

 

I really like Laurence Fishburbe a lot.

Oh wait, there have only been two seasons so far. I know there are plans for more, but I find it funny that ACS, Pose, and Scream Queens all have only two seasons right now.

The acting in Hannibal is so fucking good. I wish they'd gotten to do a Silence of the Lambs season before getting canceled. But it's already so bonkers that it lasted three seasons, on NBC of all places.
