What are the best television shows right now? I am not currently keeping up with anything other than a few comedies.

 

Succession, Better Call Saul come to mind immediately

 

Ugh I know they will but don’t close theaters! My one respite.

 

Movies and concerts for me. I got streaming and video games but I can only handle being a hermit for so long.

idk if I can list "best" shows. Most of the stuff I enjoy is sci-fi/fantasy, like Mandalorian and Witcher recently. Currently going through Legion S3, and also really excited for Westworld. It's like, yeah, I probably should continue watching Mad Men and Sopranos because they're so good, but there's so much other stuff out there that's more fun for me. I guess I look for escapism over craft.

 

Does Better Call Saul stand on its own, or is it a flurry of Breaking Bad callbacks?

 

Stands alone but obviously gives you more if you've seen BB

Watchmen and Chernobyl, which are both one-offs from last year and easy to knock out.

DEVS just started, and it's great so far.

Whenever the topic of best shows comes up, I also have to mention Dark on Netflix.

It's weird cause I didnt start Better Call Saul cause I didnt think it would live up to BB hype but now I'm cautious because I dont think it will live up to it's own hype.

 

High Maintenance

 

All the schools going online or outright cancelling classes have me thinking of:

I'm gonna go see Parasite like 10 more times in an empty theater.

 

I wonder how it affects a list and the regal program, I will watch Trolls in 3d to get my money's worth
