well according to that article they didn’t take it seriously at all. So idk if that’s what you mean or what

 

from what i recall, schwahn referred to his own show as, and i quote, "storytelling gold." he did not at the time see how cheesy his shit was

Finally watched the Before Trilogy today. I had only heard of them a bit and had a vague sense of what they were about, and they’ve been on my list for years and I just finished them all back to back to back.

10/10 without a doubt

 

Has Zach braff done something bad? I know he went off a bit On punkd and he seems slightly douchey, but is that it? I feel like the internet hates him.

 

he made that supposedly shit awful movie about half a decade ago

 

I think just the Kickstarter movie that was about a struggling actor and Florence Pugh being half his age

 

I just watched a master builder and that shit is wild. Gonna be one interesting

Scrubs is really really really bad, that's all I got here.

 

Ok that's not all, I saw Garden State when I was a child and thought it was good, then I saw it as a slightly older human and it was really really really bad

 

Scrubs is not bad. What?!?

 

So terrible, not funny, painful

 

Scrubs is hilarious and I was always impressed that they strived for medical accuracy and also mixed in a lot of heavy, emotional stuff in with the silliness

 

Anyway, I'm glad people find joy in it, go on being your bad ol self

 

Scrubs, like almost every show, wouldve been better with half the amount of episodes and if it stayed grounded. Definitely the latter though. I love it all the same though

That’s how I feel. It has its’ moments. He’s probably my least favorite character though.

And yes, Garden State is nightmare dreamscape of a movie.

 

Scrubs was a little silly, but Garden State and Wish I Was Here are the real atrocities.

 

Garden state has aged horribly but I feel like 75% of people would be lying if they said they didn’t like/love it when it came out.

And the soundtrack still slaps

 

Idk, I hated it immediately

 

I loved Garden State and haven't really watched it in a while so I still have good feelings of it. It also got me into Imogen Heap so I'll always love it for that.

 

Garden State does not hold up. Among other things, it's just so... emblematic (totally got that from a thesaurus lol) of the manic pixie dream girl trope.
