Review: With The Rise of Skywalker, Stars Wars Refuses to Let the Past Die

holy shit @ Jackass, that can be amazing, but of course I hope everyone is on the up and up. Honestly doing it again could definitely help Bam, Steve-o has long been sober, Knoxville too I think....

 

The Jackass movies are some of the funniest movies I’ve ever seen so I’m down

 

Knoxville is definitely not sober. But he also didn’t seem to have the substance abuse issues the others had. Don’t get me wrong they’re all hard partiers and all that but I think the issues were mostly confined to bam and stevo

I feel like it could help Bam too, give him something fun to do. Hope they all enjoy it and it ends up being as good as the others.

 

I’m watching Sunshine on my new UHD TV with subwoofer and shit. I can’t believe it took me so long to upgrade my stuff. It looks and sounds absolutely incredible. The movie is a 10/10, too.

 

Spoiler thoughts on Sunshine:

I know the general consensus is that the first 2/3 is incredible and the twist for the final 1/3 ruins it but I love it all more after each viewing. The twist is definitely jarring and unexpected on first watch but from a plot point of view, it does make sense. And after every rewatch, the foreshadowing is there from the beginning. It’s just a matter of whether you like the direction it went or not. There are a handful of those kind of decisions, some from a script perspective and others from the direction, but if they work for you, it’s flat out a masterpiece. I’m glad that every choice worked for me instead of disappointing me.

I love it!

Yeah but some people are sensitive to spoilers and I love the movie enough that I don’t want to spoil it for anyone.

So happy another Jackass movie is coming. The show and the original movies are still hilarious. I was kind of hoping they would reboot the series on Netflix and give us another 10 episodes.

Someone my mom works with genuinely did go at 8 AM Friday and I was stunned. I guess he said he thought it would be when the crowd was the smallest since he doesn’t deal with large groups well, but it still just sounded so strange to me.

If I have a day off I looooove going to the movies as early as possible. Then you still have all day after!

 

Yeah most theaters here don’t start til 11 or 12 and it bums me out.

 

most theaters around here don't start until 3 or 4 most days unless it's during the summer, the weekend, or around holidays.

 

I love Jackass but I hope they stop involving animals, any animals, in their stunts. It was never cool, but more people realize that nowadays, so I’m a little hopeful.

 

Steve O is vegan so I’m sure he’d protest anything bad related to animals now

 

Hopefully Disney executives were trolled with Irishman wrapping paper.
