One of my all-time favorites is Peter Pan from When Harry Met Sally. It warms my heart every time I think about it.

 

nothing will ever beat Dick Wolf being one of like the top 5 showrunners of all time

 

this made me pick between soderbergh and lynch so it was tough but ultimately my finals ended up being lynch over ramsay

 

This is not a fun activity!!

I’ve never seen American Pie

 

Neither have I and I don't intend to.

 

Paul Thomas Anderson and David Lynch are mostly too close to choose, but neither one is a top five director.

 

I am really jealous. It is a rare movie that will make you dumber, and now with the Spacey stuff you have even more reason to avoid it.

My mistake, I got the two movies confused. I remember American Pie being an important part of my early teenage years even though I was not allowed to watch it.

 

This is hilarious.

American Pie is definitely a standard teen sex comedy so it has a lot of the gross tropes associated with it, but there are some subversions to them as well and the soundtrack is super fun. I definitely snuck my brother’s VHS when I was way too young and watched it over and over, so it will always have a nostalgic (and problematic) hold on me.
