Team America is amazing.

I would have walked out of Spy but I was with someone. Hated that movie, but it was free so whatever.

 

Oh. Almost walked out of Moana too but also free

Edit: wait that doesn’t makes sense. That’s exactly why I should have walked out. Oh well

 

I wanted to walk out of Tropic Thunder, but my buddy was losing his mind laughing, so I had to stay.

 

I agree even though I liked parts of it. I think for me it was the middle part of the movie. Filmed beautifully but I don't need to see 10 mins of nothing but nature shots everytime they cut away from Leo crawling around. I think if it were cut shorter it'd help a ton since I was really into the beginning and ending.

Another movie I absolutely love haha.

 

Dude I also do not get the hype for this movie. Ok at best imo. Maybe I need to see it again

I don’t either and I like most the people in it. Tim Cruise is one of my favorite actors in general and I loathe his part. It’s practically ‘rapping granny’ levels of comedy to me.

 

I dunno, I get the appeal for children but I felt it was boring and predictable. Just didn’t do much for me. Crab scene was good tho

 

So I guess the answer is no, I have not walked out of a movie

 

Tom Cruise, one of the great actors of our time, is the worst part of Tropic Thunder, a very good movie.

 

I have turned movies off though and not finished them. Pi and REC come to mind

When I saw it I thought it was just good and not much more. Glad it caught on with everyone else tho

 

The thing about that performance is that it's actually too real. Tom Cruise is playing very close to the reality of that level of producer, while everyone else is doing heightened versions of Hollywood archetypes. Yeah he's in a fat suit and bad makeup but the dialogue and mannerisms are not far from reality, where Stiller and RDJ are playing comedy. It feels weird against the rest of the movie.

 

I know Tom Cruise is fucking crazy and everything, but he’d make a dope uncle.

 

thinking of movies I wish I had Moviepass for is a fun game
I think Real Steel wins, I mean it did the job of being a Hugh Jackman movie about boxing robots but I still can't believe I paid to see that haha

I also rarely hate movies, Sausage Party is the only recent one I can think of
