The Sandlot is a one-hit wonder of a movie. It’s cool that the director has it going for him but I don’t think this’ll amount to much

Is Benny the one who went to jail for assault?

He took a plea and avoided prison iirc. He is (was?) A firefighter and I think it was him and his firefighter buddies that assaulted someone so bad they (the firefighters) had to revive them

I told my friend I’d finally check out Watchmen and it’s laughably bad, holy shit.

Watchmen is one of the worst movies I’ve watched beginning to end.

To each their own, but what's the reaction to a actually bad movie?

The worst movie I've seen all the way through would have to be Atomic Blonde.

I mean there may be others but this wound is fresh enough that it's the only thing I can think of that fits the category.

The opening montage is cool enough to discount it. I thought it was fine, I havent seen it since

Nearly every aspect of this movie was horrible to me. Bad acting, writing, directing, the music choices were intrusive and cliche as hell, it’s way too long, and the message of the movie is high school levels of deep thinking. I seriously hated it.

But every scene with Rorschach, esp his last line... do it.

And Nite Owl's ending speech to Ozymandias "You haven't idealized mankind, you've deformed it. You mutilated it. That's your legacy." I thought was well written and acted.

So many great shots in this movie, the action is fantastic and as someone said above, even those opening credits...

    haha I'll give you that.

I really like the twist of the heroes bringing the world together in that way, but didn't think it was trying to be real deep....just different than other super hero movies.

    But anyway

We’ll have to agree to disagree because I still hated pretty much all of it. Those opening credits were indicative of how long, plodding, and boring as the rest of the movie.

We can do that haha, I'm used to it as a Snyder fan. You are on the popular side of the argument for sure though, the only reason I said anything is most people shit on it, but still find good things about it and don't outright think it's awful.

The worst movie I ever watched was the live action cat in the hat. Just terrible.

Definitely not the worst I’ve seen, but the end where Macavoy looks into the camera made me wanna scream. I think that happens lol

I think the worst movie I’ve ever spent money on was mother! and before that it was Noah. Though there are a lot of movies I haven’t paid for that were worse than both of those.

Haha, I liked Noah and have been meaning to watch mother! It’s being added to Prime soon, so I’ll check it out then.

Atomic Blonde rocks. I liked Noah a lot. I usually get at least something out of every movie I see, or at least try to, but the Revenant was a chore. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is up there. There are not very many good things to say about the Entourage movie, which I saw at 10:20 AM like the day it came out and am ashamed of having done now.

Anyone else walk out of a movie before? I got about thirty or forty minutes into Team America: World Police and has to get out of there. Still haven’t seen it and don’t plan to.

Looking at my lowest rated Letterboxd movies, I wish Moviepass were around when I saw Suicide Squad and that kickstarted Zach Braff movie because it sucked to have spent money on them.
