I wish I remembered more but it stemmed from me and my buddy being huge Metallica fans and Jason Newsted was about to be playing with Voivod so we were stoked. I think Pinfield was poking us a bit and saying Jason wasn't even on Justice (which he's kind of right) and us being 19 and not wanting to hear anything negative about Jason/Metallica. It was all in good fun though and I remember the interaction as pleasant.

 

The bass (or lack of, rather) on that album drives me crazier than it should. Haha

Kind of? It’s based on a true story of a religious cult where the men were drugging and raping the women. Very weird to think it’s utopian!

 

I went to an Anna of the North concert a few years ago and right next to us, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp were watching the show, dancing, having a blast.
