oh yeah I haven’t been able to go grocery shopping the last few years without hearing about rebel moon

 

this tracks. i haven't been able to browse Walmart the last few years without spotting a ton of unsold Rebel Moon tie-in merch in their entertainment section's clearance aisle

 

Imagine being a director who made the highest grossing film of all time and proudly bragging you used AI and that it was something “any 10 year old could do after watching a tik tok”

hacks. Lazy dipshit hacks.

 

Fuck Netflix, fuck the Russo brothers, and fuck Chris Pratt too.

 

I don't think I've ever paid attention to what customers are talking about at a store haha

 

next time you go pay attention at least one or two people will be talking about the electric state or rebel moon.

Yep! And I'm sure it'll be great as long as the writing is good!

 

They do seem to do better when they have someone like Feige telling them what to do

 

The only positive thing I have to say about those guys is that they contributed to arrested development and happy endings

I think that's okay though. Not every director is going to be Spielberg. If they're good at their jobs when the writing is good, then what's wrong with that? Team work. Everyone has varying skill levels

 

mostly wish they (more joe than anthony, apparently) would know when to keep their mouths shut. like how do you just not know to stop saying things that rile others up like that

The highest-grossing film of all time since recorded box office is all classic, iconic films and then you get to Avengers. Coppola, Cameron, Lucas, Spielberg, and then two guys you wouldn't recognize at a grocery store.

 

It becomes a problem when they make big budget flops, hypothetically keeping potentially better ideas from being funded

 

Everything they’ve done outside of the MCU and sitcoms have been abominations.

 

Was hanging out in the mall today and all the teens could talk about was the electric state

 

I was on the train yesterday, no one was talking but the woman next to me was eating soup and I was very nervous.
